
It’s the start of a new year–which often means the start or renewed continuation of healthier habits. I stalled my healthy habits at Thanksgiving and boy, my body was worn down by the new year!
One of the areas I have renewed interest is meditation. I’ve started and stopped a number of times, but I keep coming back to it because the benefits are endless. Meditation is often said to be like a workout for the mind. Just as you workout your body, it’s important to workout your mind.
This year, I’m trying to keep a daily meditation practice. While perfection isn’t the goal–and if I skip a day it’s OK–the best benefits come with a daily practice of at least 10 minutes.
Will you join me on this adventure? I’m 3 days in (ha!) but can already feel some benefits and the 10 minutes goes by fast. Let’s do this!
